Cant stop thinking about the negatives because you arent giving me anything positive
success infatuated, money obligated,
concentrated on living life fully decorated,
but its truly not money over everything,
never had it so how can it mean anything,
battling daily life with many struggles and obstacles,
the longer the war the more success seems impossible,
anyone can dream a dream life they want to be living,
but very few possess that full head of steam to pair with their ambition,
giving significance to irrelevant titles and decimals,
when really all the value should be given to the things that are unquantifiable,
taken for granted are the subtle yet important necessities,
when im thanking God for a new day cuz it feels like that’s the only things hes blessing me,
ima be rich in kindness wealthy in intelligence,
penny for my thoughts, time and time again are the only things that are ever spent,
success, it has its many connotations ,
only you can decide whether or not you made it,
insignificant, over hyped statuses and labels,
got societies mind twisted like catholics spinning dreidels,
so dont measure my success with a decimal point, comma, or by the numbers that go first,
measure my successfulness by how much im worth.
